Further investment in Milling Cell

Further investment in Milling Cell

IPEL are pleased to announce news of further investment in our Milling Cell having just signed off an order for a Doosan DNM5700. Following 3 years of aggressive growth a step forward in milling had been considered for sometime.

Lee Parnell ‘Doosan have long been seen as a market leader in the supply of VMC’s. With that in mind we are pleased to have got this first machine over the line. This represents a big step forward for IPEL increasing our spindle speeds to 12k RPM we will be now be able to offer faster cycle times and shorter lead times.’

Melvin Meader ‘Making a move into the premium machine tool market is a bold move, we believe this to be the start of a long and prosperous relationship for IPEL and Mills CNC. Ultimately we strive to maximise efficiency in production ensuring we better serve our ever growing customer base by continuing to offer both a competitive cost model and attractive lead times.’
